The appraisal claim process is a way to resolve disputes about the value of a claim when an agreement cannot be reached. Instead of going to court, both sides hire an independent appraiser. Our appraiser and the insurance's will both complete their own estimate and attempt to come to an agreement. If our appraiser and the opposing appraiser cannot come to an agreement, the appraisers select a neutral umpire to resolve the dispute.
